Book Signing Tour Now Over For The Season

We would like to thank everyone for coming out to see us over the past couple of months. We had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone.

The fact is, we're a bit stunned at how well our book is doing. Comments on this blog are starting to trickle in and we're both extremely pleased to find people are really enjoying our book.

Things just keep getting better. We both thought it as a good story, but then again, we're biased since we wrote it. Then our friends and relatives read it and said it was a good story, but we know they're also somewhat biased as well (and we thank them for supporting us in the earliest days).

But the real impact doesn't hit home until other readers (and by that we mean complete strangers - people that have no idea what they're buying but are willing to take the chance for a good story) provide their unbiased feedback. It's then that things get both a little weird, yet extremely exhilarating. It's those moments when complete strangers walk up to us and start discussing various aspects of the book, like which parts they liked the best, or asking questions like: "When is the next one coming out?" That's when you truly start to appreciate how very cool it is that someone would spend their hard earned money on "your" book, and then tell you they really got their money's worth.

Thank you everyone. And thanks to Coles and Chapters for providing us this opportunity to meet our readers face-to-face. We look forward to meeting everyone again when the next book in the Jake Lorde Chronicles comes out.
